Hasna earned a PhD in Medical Parasitology and Infectious Diseases from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health, USA. Her doctoral research focused on host immune responses and genetic factors involved in pathogenic diseases. She previously completed a BSc (Hons) in Immunology and Integrative Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Following her doctoral training, Hasna continued her research career in clinical and translational research, with experience in cardiovascular disease, obstetrics and gynecology, and clinical data analysis. She has worked at both the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (Institute of Cardiology) and De Soysa Hospital for Women. Her work has contributed to multiple research projects examining disease risk factors and clinical outcomes, and she has experience working with large clinical datasets to generate evidence for healthcare research and decision-making.

At Wulfstan Analytics, Hasna focuses on clinical and translational research strategy, supporting projects that integrate clinical insight with genomic and multi-omics data. Her role includes contributing to research design, developing analytical proposals, interpreting findings in a clinical context, and working with interdisciplinary teams to translate data-driven discoveries into meaningful health insights.

Sandika Nuwanpriya is the Manager – Technical Services at Wulfstan Analytics, responsible for overseeing the organization’s technical infrastructure, software development, and data systems. He leads the design and management of scalable technology platforms that support data processing, application development, data warehousing, and analytical dashboards to enable efficient digital operations and decision-making.

Sandika brings over 19 years of experience across the financial, healthcare, and public sectors, with strong expertise in software engineering, data architecture, and enterprise system implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Colombo and has further strengthened his technical foundation through specialized diplomas in software engineering, web design, and cloud computing.

During his career in the banking sector, Sandika played a key role in modernizing operational systems, contributing to the development and implementation of core banking modules used across more than 270 branches. He also led the development of several in-house applications using PHP and Oracle, and served as a lead trainer, successfully onboarding over 2,500 users on enterprise technical platforms.

More recently, Sandika has led the deployment of Government Resource Planning (GRP) systems for Ministries of Finance and national treasury institutions. His expertise includes data migration, RESTful API architecture, data warehousing, dashboard development, and the creation of custom web applications and digital portals that enhance financial management and transparency.

A Microsoft Certified professional in Azure Fundamentals, Sandika has strong technical capabilities in SQL Server, Python, and modern web technologies, helping ensure that Wulfstan’s technology infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and resilient.

Anistus earned a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). His academic training focused on embedded systems, software engineering, and modern computing technologies, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation across both hardware and software domains.

Following his undergraduate studies, Anistus worked in embedded systems and IoT engineering, developing firmware and communication systems for connected devices. His work included designing STM32-based systems, developing MQTT-based device communication frameworks, and implementing wireless solutions using technologies such as LoRa, GSM, and BLE.

In addition to embedded systems, Anistus has experience in backend and cloud-based software development. He has developed and deployed backend and full-stack systems using technologies including Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

At Wulfstan Analytics, Anistus works as a Systems Engineer focusing on backend systems and infrastructure. His role involves developing and maintaining backend services, supporting data-driven platforms, designing scalable system architectures, and ensuring reliable integration between cloud infrastructure and analytical workflows.

Nimry Marikkar is a Design Specialist at Wulfstan Analytics, supporting the organization’s visual communications, digital content, and design initiatives. He also works closely with the scientific team to support the preparation of scientific diagrams, presentation materials, and visually structured research content.

He holds a Diploma and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Digital Media and Design, which provide a strong academic foundation in multimedia technologies, visual communication, and modern design practices.

Nimry brings over six years of professional experience in the digital media industry, having worked in a digital marketing agency environment where he contributed to a wide range of creative and technical projects. His experience includes brand identity development, website design, marketing materials, and multimedia content production.

His work spans multiple areas of digital media, including graphic design, web development, video editing, and animation. Nimry develops visual content for marketing campaigns, corporate branding initiatives, digital platforms, and scientific communications, using modern design tools and web technologies to create engaging and effective visual experiences.

With a strong focus on creativity, attention to detail, and innovation, Nimry combines design thinking with technical expertise to deliver high-quality visual solutions that support both digital media and scientific communication needs.

Lasanthi Dias serves as the Administration Executive at Wulfstan Analytics, bringing over 13 years of professional experience in administration and organizational support. She plays a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of internal operations and maintaining efficient administrative processes within the organization.

Lasanthi holds a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Kelaniya and a Diploma in Business Management from ESOFT Metro Campus. Her academic background, combined with extensive hands-on experience, has equipped her with strong capabilities in office administration, coordination, and operational management.
